TILE ROOFING TRAINING
TRI Alliance’s Manual Certification program is a one-day course on the code requirements for the installation of tile roofs. The course is based on the code-approved TRI Concrete and Clay Roof Tile Installation Manual. TRI Alliance certification is targeted towards both entry-level and experienced roofers who would like to expand their skills into tile. This course can also be used as a refresher for consultants, inspectors and others who want to stay up-to-date on codes and proper procedures. Participants earn certification after passing a 50-question, open-book test based on the manual. Certification is valid for two years and can be renewed every 2 years on-line. Manual Certified individuals will be listed by company in the TRI Alliance Contractor Search. |

FLORIDA HIGH WIND TRAINING
The Tile Roofing Industry Alliance (TRIA) Florida High Wind Manual Certification class is for entry level and experienced roofers in Florida who want to expand their skills and understanding of the Florida High Wind Concrete & Clay Tile Installation Manual by FRSA & TRI Alliance. The class is also helpful for roof consultants, home inspectors and industry professionals who work with tile roofing. The course includes recent code changes, tile roofing material specifications, roof preparation, installation of tile roofing, and best practices for repairing tile roofs, as described in the Florida High Wind Concrete & Clay Tile Installation Manual. |
Participants earn certification after passing a 50-question, open-book test based on the manual. Certification is valid for two years and can be renewed every 2 years on-line. Those with a Florida contractors license can earn CE Credits with the state of Florida. TRI Alliance Manual. Use of the TRI Alliance Certification Logos |
We encourage you to use TRI Alliance Certification logos in your marketing materials if your certification is current.
Your certification expires after two years and you will need to renew your certification to continuing using the TRI Alliance Certification logos or referring to TRI Alliance Certification in your marketing materials. If you are not listed in Find a Contractor, your certification has expired or your membership has lapsed. If you are a TRI Alliance member, your company profile will include your certifications which you have earned and are current. Our new membership platform will send out renewal notices to our members. Non TRI Alliance members are not tracked through our platform. |
Contact TRI Alliance to see if you’re eligible for renewal. If you are, you can renew online or in person by passing a 15-question test that includes questions related to manual changes, code updates and general installation requirements.
